Eostone Fossil Gallery Founders
Gregg Whittecar & Arron Rimpley
Gregg Whittecar has more than 25 years in the fine arts business. He has worked in every facet of the field: sales, customer service, gallery direction and corporate buying. After being recruited in 1987, Gregg moved from his home state of Kansas to begin a new career in Miami. It didn't take long for Gregg to become fascinated with the art scene that was happening in South Florida. Combining his enthusiasm and knowledge of fine art and sculpture, Gregg became a Gallery Director for a Florida-based company and quickly moved up the ranks, eventually traveling the U.S. opening new galleries and coordinating art shows. His passion eventually led him to the world of Fossil Art.
Arron Rimpley's fascination with art and antiques began at an early age. A native of Colorado, Arron spent his summers in Central City, Nebraska restoring antiques and looking for one-of-a-kind pieces to add to his collection. After graduating from college in 1992, Arron was able to finally realize his dream of working in the world of art and antiques. Today he travels the globe buying, selling and constantly searching for elusive treasures. Eostone has given Arron the opportunity to combine his appreciation for things of the past with his flair for contemporary style.
In 1999 Gregg and Arron co-founded Whitley Collection -- an innovative company devoted to bringing the finest in antique English pottery to discerning collectors around the world. Whitley Collection carries pieces from Royal Doulton, Wedgwood, Moorcroft and Charles Vyse.
In 2003, Gregg and Arron purchased Seaway China, a Royal Doulton retailer and catalogue company based in Michigan, and moved the operation to Florida. Now in its seventh year, Seaway China continues to be a leader in the Royal Doulton business.
With their latest venture, Eostone, Gregg and Arron are once again at the forefront of bringing exceptional art creations to the world.
